My story…
in less than 207 words.
I’m Michael Morley, but some people call me Mikey. My pronouns are he/they. Born and raised in New York, I’m a LaGuardia Arts High School grad with a Musical Theatre B.F.A & Dance minor from Point Park University (2020).
A versatile actor, I find my deepest truth in classical text, new works, and breathing new life into old classics through the lens of my fluidity. I work to understand the human condition: how to listen carefully, move with curiosity, express freely, and speak fervently. I strive to be an intelligent storyteller and technician, with limitless creativity for choices, play, and discovery. A Shakespearean prince, in front of a camera, in a gorgeous dress, or through dance - I aim to tell stories that matter, and I don’t ask for permission on how to exist.
When I’m not acting, you’ll likely find me near the closest tree, or biking across the five boroughs. I did in fact run a “tree instagram” that may or may not have been called... @satisfactree_. Being surrounded by nature is important to my soul and allows me to be my best creative self. I enjoy writing as well as directing, and plan to launch a few projects of my own soon.
